Top 4 programs I use
The cornerstone of my digital creative life. I use it for everything from logo design to complex digital illustration & UI/UX layout.
For all pixel-based images this is where I go, starting from original photos, scans or stock photos. Any kind of image manipulation I do in here. Also, creating animated gifs.
For multi-page documents and interactive pdf books I rely on the power of InDesign's sophisticated pagination system and robust style sheets.
I use DreamWeaver exclusively for it's code editor mode. I like the highlighting and code color schemes and also that it is integrated into the Adobe CC universe.
A knowledge nerd always seeking to learn more
San Francisco Art Institute
M.F.A. | Painting
It was a great honor to study art at S.F.A.I. While the discipline of painting was the main objective it was art criticism that informed much of my experience there. Attended 1997 to 2000.
The University of Oklahoma
B.F.A. | Advertising Design
At O.U. I learned the old school way with press-on type, refillable Rapidograph pens, cork-back rulers and 100 thumbnails for each idea. On crisp autumn days I can still smell the spray mount and paste-up wax. Attended 1983-1987.
Collin County Community College
Here I am enrolled in front-end development classes. In addition I take on-line training courses on Treehouse and Lynda.com to keep up with new developments in my profession. Currently taking: Javascipt.
